Abstract:

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to highlight the work of the non profit organization, Room to Read.

Design/methodology/approach – This paper presents a literature review including the book, Leaving Microsoft to Change the World.

Findings – Reports how an organization can bring about drastic positive change in a short period of time.

Originality/value – This paper shows the value of literacy in developing countries and how we can make a difference through the creation of libraries and bringing books to children.
