31 October 2006 – UK. Emerald Group Publishing has acquired Construction Innovation: Information, Process, Management journal. This is the first journal to report on construction innovations in information, process, technology and management and covers all aspects of successful IT/process development and implementation in one journal. The quarterly journal is available in print and online and is designed for construction professionals as well as students and lecturers taking courses in building studies and construction management. The journal has subscribers from around the world, including UK, Europe, Australia, Japan, Far East and North America.

Professor Mustafa Alshawi is the Director of the Research Institute for the Built and Human Environment, a 6* rated Institute, at the University of Salford. He holds many international advisory posts in various countries including the World Bank and the UN Habitat. He has more than 20 years in research and education with vast experience in collaborative environments, computer integration and organisational e-readiness.
Jack Goulding of the University of Salford has over 20 years industrial experience in the construction sector. He has championed several research projects in IT and construction project management for industry and academia. His current research interests include: process modelling and simulation; e-learning ontology’s; the strategic effectiveness of IT; IT training; and organisational learning.
