Emerald attends inauguration of Aerospace Centre CATEC in Seville, Spain

United Kingdom, 26 January 2011- Emerald was among a host of selected guests attending the inauguration of CATEC (Centre of Advanced Aerospace Technology) by the President of the Junta de Andalucía, José Antonio Griñán, in Seville, Spain, on 20 January 2011. Emerald publishes Aircraft Engineering and Aerospace Technology, an ISI-ranked research journal that provides broad coverage of materials and techniques used in the aerospace and aircraft industry.

CATEC is one of the most advanced technological infrastructures in Spain. Also attending the event were Spanish Minister of Economy, Innovation and Science, Antonio Avila, the General Director of the Agency for Innovation and Development of Andalusia, Antonio Valverde, as well as representatives from the Andalusian Aeronautical and Aerospace sector and Academics. Emerald’s presence underlines its commitment to supporting the thriving Aerospace industry in the region with its high-quality engineering publications.
