Bingley, United Kingdom, 21 May 2012 – Emerald is exhibiting new products at Bibliothekartag (German Library Day) in Hamburg, from 22-25 May. Delegates are invited to meet Tim Hüfner, Business Manager, at Stand 124, Halle H, to find out more about new collections of Health and Social Care journals and Emerging Markets Case Studies, and to discover how to benefit from the eBook Series Allianz Lizenz .
Emerald recently signed a License Agreement for its eBook series with the German National Library of Economics (Zentral-Bibliothek für Wirtschaftswissenschaften, ZBW) Kiel/Hamburg. Thanks to this Allianz Lizenz, all universities, colleges and research institutions throughout Germany can benefit from various discounted subscription rates to both Emerald eBook series collections: Business, Management, and Economics (BME), and Social Sciences (SSc) covering 110 series including more than 700 volumes. Institutions can opt in on an annual basis with access to the full archive.
The Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies collection focuses on business decision making and management development throughout key global emerging markets. It has been developed in response to increasing demand from business educators and practitioners for quality-controlled teaching cases. Written primarily by case-writers working in developing economies, it offers local perspectives with global appeal.
Addressing the issues at the complex interface of research and clinical practice, the Health and Social Care collection contains over 5,000 articles and spans 22 journals on subjects such as mental health and well-being, criminal justice and care, intellectual and learning disabilities.
Visitors at the Emerald Stand can also enter a prize draw for a chance to win an Amazon Kindle.
