Business Development Manager

Salary: Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
35 Hours per week

The Role:

 

 

 

An exciting opportunity exists for a forward-thinking, ambitious and entrepreneurial self starter to join Emeralds Business Development team. The successful individual should have a minimum of three years experience in an outward-facing, commercially-oriented role.

The position will involve both supporting Emeralds third party licensing activity, as well as identifying and developing new business opportunities and partnerships. A knowledge of the publishing industry and a basic understanding of licensing and contracts would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be expected to develop quickly in the role, and in time take the lead in delivering high impact, high value new business ventures and revenue streams.

Salary: Salary: £22,792 - £34,021per annum (depending on skills and experience)

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a respected international publishing house based in West Yorkshire. We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Commissioning Editor, who is looking for a chance to work with a high level of autonomy within a creative team, to help develop our successful Accounting, Finance & Economics books list.

The successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning and managing on average, 30-35 annual book projects for the academic market. A willingness to travel is a must, as the role requires international travel.
