I have retired from a lifetime in education and now have sufficient time on my hands to deliver a comprehensive and excellent service. I am adept at working to deadlines with an ability to edit work to the highest standards. I am an advocate of using plain English and can guarantee work that is well presented, easy to understand, accurate in spelling and grammatically sound.
I have a range of interests including music, current affairs and sport.

Academic background

I spent many years teaching in secondary schools in Scotland focusing on the preparation of students entering further and higher education. My career also involved management of policy, personnel and resources with quality assurance procedures embedded into all aspects of work.
I have vast experience of assessment and examination systems.
