Offenders with Mental Health Needs


Special issue call for papers from

Journal of Mental Health Training, Education and Practice (JMHTEP) is seeking contributions for a special issue on the theme of Offenders with Mental Health Needs to be published as issue 8.1 (2013).

We are seeking articles that accord with the following topic areas:

If you are researching in a related area that is not covered by the above but think that your paper may be relevant please contact Di Bailey as the editor for this edition for further discussion.

All submissions will be subject to double blind peer review. If you would like to join our panel of reviewers please contact the journal publisher, Mary Miskin (mmiskin@emeraldinsight.com).

31st July 2012          Papers returned for revisions
1st November 2012   Final papers accepted for publication

About the Journal

The Journal of Mental Health Training, Education and Practice addresses workforce development issues in mental health services. Workforce development is defined broadly to include not only workforce planning and human resource management but also education and training for mental health practice.

The journal focuses primarily on services in the United Kingdom but also draws upon international experience, reflecting the common challenges of workforce development and recognizing the scope for international learning and development.
