| Abstract: | This chapter describes how an English for specific purposes unit at an American university formed a team with medical professionals at a major Midwestern medical center to jointly produce an assessment tool for family medicine residency training. The assessment is designed to identify knowledge gaps regarding clinical and residency norms, especially among international medical residents, and therefore allow proactive training during the first year of residency. |
