Abstract

Automobile airbags are designed to provide protection for the driver, and frequently for passengers also. It is therefore crucial that their components are built to top safety critical standards. That is why the automatic assembly line for airbag control modules supplied to Ford Electronics (now officially known as Visteon) by Prodomax Industrial Automation of Canada incorporates numerous tests to ensure absolute zero defect output.
