Abstract
The increasing pace of demands from authorities and other groups, relating to environmental questions, has stimulated developments by the world's marine coatings manufacturers to meet the challenge of producing more environmentally‐agreeable protective systems, thus making a positive contribution towards the ultimate possibility of the ‘green’ ship.
