The Conference is co-organized by the Xi'an Jiaotong University –The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Knowledge Management and Innovation Research Centre (KMIRC) and Dalian University of Technology.

This KMAP Conference will be held in the most ancient capital of China, where the silk-road starts and ends. Xi'an City has been a big knowledge melting-pot for various cultures since the Qin Dynasty. It is in this unique knowledge city of China that KMAP 2010 will once again bridge East and West, and the past and future tour in Knowledge Management.

The Conference aims to:

  • provide a cross-cultural platform for the Knowledge Management practitioners and academics in China to network with their counterparts in the West and vice versa

  • discuss the topics of mutual interest and navigate together the next generation of Knowledge Management

  • enhance international collaborations.

During the Conference, the following two half-day interactive workshops will be conducted:

  • Future Centre Workshop to brainstorm the future of Knowledge Management and its adoption in enterprises

  • Complexity Workshop on knowledge landscape, learning and social complexity.
