The C_pk index and its confidence intervals

Introduces a practical method of constructing confidence intervals for the C_pk index. Constructs these confidence intervals based on the asymptotic normality of estimators for the sub‐indices of the C_pk index. As a result, the underlying distribution of the quality characteristic of interest need not be normal nor be known. Explains these sub‐indices and the Cp index and presents numerical examples and results of simulation studies of the confidence intervals.
