Acknowledgments

We, the two authors, are deeply grateful for the privilege of delving into the life and work of Boniface Mwangi. With great respect and appreciation, we have been challenged by his courage, convictions, creativity, and persistence. Since he has become a notable public figure in Kenya, much material was available online through videos, blogs, and articles, posted both by himself and by numerous others. We specifically thank him for his quick and open response to us to use any excerpts from his articles, postings, or interviews, including his parable of the truth-teller. In the same spirit, we gratefully acknowledge the invaluable input of James Kamau, whose insight into the life and work of Boniface Mwangi shaped the research significantly.
