Abstract

Purpose

Lays emphasis on the importance of presenting a positive attitude to grab an offer of employment.

Design/methodology/approach

Stresses the significance of transferable skills to ensure a successful career shift from one industry to another.

Argues that the judicious identification and effective deployment of inborn talents and acquired skills can help in the achievement of career success.
