Who do you believe?
Former Quebec premier Lucien Bouchard sparked a furore recently when he claimed Quebeckers don’t work hard enough and need to embrace better work ethics in order to create more wealth. He said that both Ontarians and Americans work harder. However, his critics pointed to provincial statistics which suggest the productivity of Quebec is at least as high as other Canadian provinces.
