Abstract

The MFR case shows a typical small size company in the growing small business sector of Italy and how it has developed over the past seven years. From a family business which produced and marketed wallpaper in a traditional manner, Massimo Frasca has moved to develop a leading business which both supplies the wallpaper market and has diversified into the sunblind sector. Raises the important issues of how a family business is run.
