Abstract

Looks at the funding of research projects, with special reference to nutrition research, at South Bank University, and recent developments in postgraduate activity in this field, emphasizing particularly the value of team work. Further projects are under way and collaboration with external organizations is sedulously fostered. Examines also the consultancy opportunities, which have enabled researchers to finance extras like computers. All this clearly portends a bright future for the nutrition initiative.
