Abstract

Notes that teleworking, or working away from the conventional office setting, has been with us for some time and, with steadily, though slowly, growing numbers of people working this way, it is accepted by an increasing number of companies as a serious approach to work. Describes teleworking and examines a range of issues with particular emphasis on the costs and benefits to the business, management in a teleworking environment, the various approaches that can be taken, the human aspects and what you can expect to achieve.
