A Manager′s Guide to Executive Information Systems

Abstract

The characteristics of Executive Information Systems (EIS) are outlined together with a discussion of their use and possible future developments. EIS are to be preferred to management information systems because they can supply timely, relevant and understandable data in a flexible manner.
