Managing Safely

Abstract

Focuses on two courses provided by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH): Managing Safely, a course aimed at supervisors and managers; and Working Safely, aimed at junior staff. Features a case study of a Managing Safely course run by British Waterways, noting that the assessment‐based nature of the course along with its relevance to the specific work situations of those involved were major plus factors. Reports positive feedback from delegates to the course.
