Abstract

Little has been written describing how the ethics and philosophy of a company can be spread throughout the workforce. Ways in which this can be achieved are described with two examples from major Japanese companies. As far as Sales is concerned the Japanese companies use a “Market in” approach while companies in the US and Europe use a “Product out” approach. Each of these approaches is described, and the two compared.
