Forget ‘static’ ‐ get ‘dynamic’! Using Active Server Pages to manage electronic resources
Abstract
As academic libraries subscribe to a growing number of electronic resources, traditional static HTML pages are becoming increasingly unmanageable. This article describes Durham University Library’s efforts to create database‐driven dynamic web pages which enable the user to locate the resources they need whilst also remaining manageable for library staff.
