Abstract

This article examines the way in which the Royal College of Nursing Library and Information Service has made a carefully tailored, purposely small, collection of electronic journals available remotely to its members. It highlights the reasons for, and advantages of, providing a hand‐picked collection of journals, and suggests reasons why this approach has been successful.
