2. Nobel Laureate: Jan Tinbergen (1903‐1994)

Abstract

Says of Jon Tinbergen that he was a very modest person and a very great scientist. Looks at his early humble beginnings in The Netherlands and on to his many and varied advisory placements with a number of foreign governments. Concludes Tinbergen was a great original twentieth century economist.
