Abstract

Outlines the Web site, Expanding Universe, maintained by the Metropolitan Toronto Reference Library which is essentially a subject specific link library using the Dewey decimalization system to organize astronomy hotlinks. Discusses the origins of the project, the problems it tried to address, the manner of its compilation adn design, growth of the system lessons learnt and future plans for development.
