Abstract

Purpose

Introduction of RCampus.com, a free and open‐access platform for learning and education management. This article describes some of the open services of RCampus including the course management and ePortfolio system, rubric builder and assessment tool, and The Book Exchange Network.

Design/methodology/approach

Describes what different services are available on RCampus.

Finddings

Illustrates how any faculty or student can create a free ePortfolio and website to manage courses over multiple schools, and keep his/her work permanently.

Originality/value

This paper was prepared by the original developer of RCampus, an adjunct faculty member in a computer science department.
