Abstract

Purpose

Aims to provide some answers to the question: “What does the future look like for libraries?”

Design/methodology/approach

The paper's approach is a review of various initiatives undertaken in the USA.

Findings

All the projects show that a positive use of technology is taken.

Originality/value

Provides information of value to all those involved with information management.
