Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this article is to provide an interview with Maggie Craddock, author of Power Genes: Understanding Your Power Persona – and How to Wield It at Work.
Design/methodology/approach
The interview is conducted by an independent interviewer.
Findings
Maggie Craddock is an Executive Coach and author of The Authentic Career: Following the Path of Self‐discovery to Professional Fulfillment. Prior to coaching, she received two Lipper Awards for managing the top mutual fund in its class nationwide. She is an Ackerman‐certified family therapist.
Practical implications
Maggie Craddock discusses the professional implications of her Power Personas model and how this can be used to draw on existing strengths and resolve conflict.
Originality/value
Self‐awareness of individual power styles is an invaluable tool for mastering your professional and personal skills.
