Abstract

Many organizations in Australia are not getting maximum value from the psychologist function. Psychologists are uniquely equipped to provide organizations with many other skills beside direct counselling interventions, particularly in relation to the advancement of organizational health through strategic people management. The Australian Customs Service has developed the role of psychologist such that it plays an integral part in the promotion of all aspects of corporate health.
