The Road to Integration in Hertfordshire

Abstract

The authors describe the rationale for changes in the structure of service configurations in Hertfordshire, based on the goal of simplifying access by the public. The article explains how they have been put into practice. The integrated approach includes an innovative Department for Children, Schools and Families, as well as new health and social care services for adults.
