Abstract

One of the most prominent figures in the organizational learning field, Peter Senge, has said that the need for understanding about how organizations learn and methods with which to accelerate learning is greater now than at any time previously. But for many, the gulf between polished rhetoric and practice is often daunting. What type of learning is likely to be most successful? What are the issues that emerge and the lessons that can be learned from others?
