Abstract

By now you will be well accustomed to the “ever‐changing hyper‐competitive world of business” because change has become the norm. However, the question of whether the management development techniques have kept pace still remains unanswered. According to Longenecker and Neubert in their article “The management development needs of front‐line managers: voices from the field”, many practitioners, researchers and management consultants believe that this constant state of change has reduced the potential for genuine long‐term benefits.
