Abstract

Commercial activity, and the income it generates, are of increasing importance to all higher education institutions. For new university business schools in the UK (i.e. ex polytechnics) the funding climate has produced a scenario in which commercial activity is likely to be an increasing priority as business schools attempt to remain solvent.
