Abstract

In order to simulate the entrepreneurial process for students, the Entrepreneurship Program at Ball State University incorporates traditional as well as innovative, experimential approaches to entrepreneurship education. First, it is believed that a comprehensive, multi‐course program of education will prove more effective in teaching the totality of entrepreneurship than will a single course. Second, it is believed that entrepreneurship is a reality‐based field of study. As a result, the Ball State University program is designed to incorporate as much of the knowledge and experience of the “real world” entrepreneur as possible.
