Containers on the Ground – A New Zealand Revolution

Abstract
Containers are the universally accepted means of moving goods from country to country, and increasingly within the same country. The use of self‐loading semi‐trailers for handling containers in New Zealand is described. The benefits of their use and some of the possible problems in the United Kingdom are outlined.
