Deutschland über Alles

Abstract

A review of the present West Germany from a historical perspective is given. The state of the economy is discussed with particular reference to the economic implications of the forthcoming Single European Market; and the consequences for West Germany and for those countries trading with her. West Germany is considered as being in a strong position already in Europe and ready to exploit the opportunities presented by a Single Market.
