Work Study in West Germany
Abstract
Discusses the approach to work study used in West Germany. Examines the nature and functions of the body that is responsible for providing a framework for work study practice – REFA – as well as the organization of training and instruction that is offered. Surmises that work study practice in West Germany differs from that of other countries by being more formal and structured, and that this has been used to deliver numerous benefits.
