Quality – A Belief and Awareness
Abstract
Discusses the introduction of the Crosby quality system into Dairy Crest. Examines the 12 quality steps of the systems with reference to staff training and reactions, information gathering, and individual involvement, citing examples of aiming for zero errors and zero sickness. Concludes that the quality system enhances management responsiveness and commitment, employee pay and conditions, and information flow – although belief in the system is needed.
