Enterprise in Higher Education: reflections from the chair
Abstract
The chair of a university Enterprise in Higher Education (EHE) Committee reviews the initiative′s success from an employer′s perspective – that of Ford (Europe) – highlighting choice of director, university infrastructure, university senior management support, the contribution of Department for Education and Employment representatives, student enterprise and the establishment of an EHE committee as salient features in its success. Lists the achievements of Ford′s link with the University of East London EHE, and looks to the future.
