A Reference Library Talks to its Users
Abstract
Outlines a recent experiment in user research carried out by Derbyshire Library Service, by means of a survey. Seeks to discover if the right range of services or products are being provided for user's needs. Concludes that such surveys may provide a catalyst for change in that they can be used as a basis on which to make decisions to improve the performance of the library service.
