Abstract

Looks at the Bradford retail market area in terms of workplace, bus service and local newspaper circulation in order to measure the intensity of market linkages between Bradford's central shopping area and various parts of its shopping catchment area. Examines the distribution of shops and geographical differences of shopping turnover. Investigates the income characteristics of the Bradford retail market area.
