Abstract
Discusses the experiences of Hagerstown Indiana and its attempts to create an online public library. Shows how with determination, the small town was able to create a case, obtain its own funding and build its own systems. Describes the choice of equipment and software and the issues these brought. Suggests that the system is now relied upon by many patrons who have come to depend upon this availability.
