Abstract

Purpose

This paper aims to review the latest management developments across the globe and pinpoint practical implications from cutting-edge research and case studies.

Design/methodology/approach

This briefing is prepared by an independent writer who adds their own impartial comments and places the articles in context.

Findings

This research paper forms a model made up of total rewards, organizational justice (OJ), engagement, and intention to stay. The survey data revealed that engagement levels become optimally high when both OJ and total rewards are perceived by an employee as being high. In turn those more engaged employees have a higher level of intention to stay with the organization, as a result of remaining magnetized by a sense that they're being fairly rewarded and treated in return for their work effort.

Originality/value

The briefing saves busy executives and researchers hours of reading time by selecting only the very best, most pertinent information and presenting it in a condensed and easy-to-digest format.
