About the Contributors

Erlan K. Abil, PhD in Economics, is Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. His scientific interests include macroeconomics, public administration and economic growth. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Economy & Business” (ISSN 1314-7242) (https://www.sciencebg.net/en/conferences/economy-and-business/). He has published more than 50 works in Russian and foreign peer-reviewed scientific journals and books.

Raju Mohammad Kamrul Alam, PhD in Economics, is Senior Lecturer at the faculty of National Economics at the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. His area of interest and teaching is green economy and sustainable development.

The world is now confronted with incremental global warming. The global average temperature is accelerating rapidly in the earth's neon surface areas. If such a condition continues, then the global average temperature will increase by 2.4–4.6 degrees centigrade by 2050, which will affect the hydrology and biology of the earth, including the economy, ecosystem and substances. Some of the adverse impacts of global warming including frequent natural disasters, drought, heavy rainfall, bushfire, etc. are already prevalent and becoming more devastating day by day. Green economy and sustainable economic development is the potential way to solve the problem. He has more than 30 publications written on economics and contemporary global issues published in national and international journals.

Ahmad S. Al Humssi is a candidate of Economic Sciences (PhD in Economics) and an Associate Professor of the Faculty of Economics of the RUDN University. His research interests include economic analysis, finance, accounting, statistics, international economics, international business analysis and other studies on challenges of economic growth in Middle Eastern and North African countries. He has more than 45 publications written on economics and contemporary global issues published in national and international journals.

Dr. Óscar Álvarez-Gila is a Professor of History of the Americas at the University of the Basque Country. He has also been Visiting Professor at the Centre of European Studies, University of Oxford (2008–2009); W. Douglass Distinguished Visiting Scholar in the University of Nevada-Reno, USA (2010–2011); Elena Díaz-Verson Amos Eminent Scholar in Latin American Studies in the Columbus State University, Georgia, USA (2013–2014), Magnus Mörner Memorial Professor in the University of Stockholm (2016–2017) and Jon Bilbao Chair in the University of Nevada-Reno, USA (2019–2020). His research deals with the study of international migrations during the nineteenth–twentieth centuries from Europe overseas. Among other elements, he has focused on the links between religion and migration, the creation of associations among immigrants, and the links between climate change and migration or genetics and history.

Inna V. Andronova, with a doctorate in Economics, is Professor and Head of the Department of International Economic Relations, faculty of Economics, RUDN. She has been an Invited Professor in The Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. She is the Head of the Scientific School of the Department of International Economic Relations ‘Foreign Economic Security of countries in the conditions of increasing interdependence of national economies’. Her research interests include: economic security of countries and regions, sustainable development, economic integration. She is author of more than 150 scientific papers.

Aibol A. Argyngazinov, MSc (Econ.), is an Applicant at Peoples Friendship University of Russia. He studied at the graduate school of St. Petersburg State University and has work experience in the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan, the Institute for Economic Research. He has authored over 40 scientific papers on economic problems.

Ravil R. Asmyatullin is Manager of the educational program ‘World Economy’ and Assistant Professor at the Institute of World Economy and Business, RUDN. Asmyatullin specializes in the global education market, and is author of more than 30 publications, including Transformation of the global education market in the age of digitalization.

Saadat M. Assanseitova is an Economist and Director of the Regional Integration Department of the AIFC. Previously she served as a Deputy Director of Integration Development Department of Eurasian Economic Commission and has 10 years of experience in public service including leadership positions. Her scientific interests include regional economic integration, globalization and economic growth, emerging markets, trade and economic relations, free trade agreements, industrial cooperation, effects of economic integration. She has participated in Russian and international scientific and practical conferences and published few scientific articles.

Irina N. Belova, PhD in Economics, is Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations, Faculty of Economics, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University), Moscow, Russia. Her research interests include world economy, international economic relations, international trade, world markets of goods and services.

Filipp D. Belov, PhD in Economics, is Head of the Center for Research of Organizational Processes in the Field of Science and Innovations, Russian Research Institute of Economics, Politics and Law in Science and Technology (RIEPP), Moscow, Russia. His research interests include world scientific centres, international experience in the creation and functioning of national innovation systems, world economy and international economic relations.

Olga V. Brizhak, with a doctorate in Economic, is Professor at the Department of Economic Theory, Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education ‘Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation’ (Moscow, Russia). Her research interests include the study of the theory of property and economic interests, capital theory, theory of the firm, theory of creative economy and knowledge economy, theory of neoindustrial state policy, theory of institutional problems and economic development of the Russian economy, methodology of system socio-economic transformations, theory of noosphere studies in economics, theory of conformity, and theory of new economic reality. She organizes Russian and international scientific and practical conferences. She is a member of the editorial board of the journal Natural Sciences and Humanities and the author of personal and collective monographs. She is an expert of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, a member of the Dissertation Council for candidate and doctoral dissertations at the Central Institute of Economics and Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. She has published more than 150 works in Russian and foreign peer-reviewed scientific journals and books and served as editor of collections of scientific articles and reports.

David Celetti is Professor in Local Development at the University of Padua (Italy). He has a PhD in Economic and Social History at the University of Verona (Italy) and Postdoctoral and Researcher Fellowships at the University of Padua (Italy). He has been Senior Researcher at the University of Hertfordshire (UK) and has obtained the qualification of maître de conference for the French universities. His research interests are focused on the Early Modern and Modern Economic History, with particular attention to the history of textiles and the themes of the home industry and the transition from agriculture to industry, the development of contemporary capitalism in the western and non-western worlds.

Vladimir Z. Chaplyuk, with a doctorate in Economics, is Professor of the Faculty of Economics of the RUDN University. He is a member of two dissertation councils of the RUDN University. His research interests include management of social and economic development of sectors of the Russian economy, public finance, problems of economic development of the Arab countries, fundamentals of systems analysis and international business analysis. He has published many scientific works, including textbooks, monographs and scientific articles that have been published in Russian and international peer-reviewed journals in various scientific areas: world economy, finance and credit, statistics.

Yining Cheng is Lecturer in the Faculty of Finance, College of Economics and Management, Inner Mongolia Agriculture University (IMAU), China, whose research interests include world economy, international economic relations, international trade and national economic security.

Sandra Diana Aliaga Cordova is a second-year PhD student (Economics) at RUDN University, Moscow, Russia, working on a PhD dissertation titled ‘Improving Industrial Policy in the Mining Sectors in Peru’. She holds two master's degrees with a specialization in ‘Management’ and ‘Linguistics’ from RUDN University. She worked as Sales Manager for Asesorias y Servicios Alpari Chile. She is currently a Customer Solutions Representative for Pinnacle Services Ltd. Her scientific interests are Peruvian economy: data analysis, economic trends monitoring, forecasting, industrial policy, mining sector development.

Irina P. Denisova is a Professor, with a doctorate in Economics and an MA from Suslov Rostov-on-Don State University. She has 30 years of work experience. Her research interests include research in the field of finance, insurance, pricing, innovation and investment policy of the state, budget policy. She carries out activities to create modern educational and methodological support for the training of bachelors and masters, specialists, taking into account the requirements of state educational standards and the concept of modernization of Russian education. She has more than 60 scientific publications and participates in international projects such as international project of the TASIS program, and the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Southern Federal District ‘Financial transparency of federal transfers in the South of Russia’. She is a member of the Dissertation Council D 212.209.05, Rostov State University of Economics (RSUE), member of the Editorial Board of the journal Modern Management Technology, RSCI, AGRIS indexing.

Emilia S. Druzhilovskaya graduated with honors from the Faculty of Finance of the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod. She defended her PhD dissertation in the specialty ‘Accounting, statistics’. She currently has a PhD in Economics and works as an Associate Professor at the Department of Accounting at Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod. She is a member of the editorial board of the journal Accounting in Budgetary and Non-Profit Organizations, indexed in the RSCI. She is the author of more than 20 monographs, textbooks, and teaching aids and more than 200 scientific articles indexed in the Web of Science, Scopus and RSCI databases.

Tatyana Y. Druzhilovskaya has two higher educations. She graduated with honors from the Gorky State University, Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics, and then graduated with honors from the All-Russian Correspondence Institute of Finance and Economics. She defended her candidate and then doctoral dissertation in the specialty ‘Accounting, statistics’. She currently holds a Doctor of Economic Sciences and works as a Professor at the Department of Accounting at Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod. She is a full member of the Institute of Professional Accountants, a member of the editorial boards of the journals International Accounting, Digest Finance, Accounting in Budgetary and Non-Profit Organizations and Accounting and Taxation in Budgetary Organizations. She is the author of over 30 monographs, textbooks, and teaching aids and over 300 scientific articles. Her works are indexed in the Web of Science, Scopus and RSCI databases.

Elena A. Egorycheva is Senior Lecturer of Department of National Economics, Faculty of Economics, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University), Moscow, Russia. Her research interests include world economy, international economic relations, entrepreneurship, the Russian economy and economic relations.

Galina V. Gavlovskaya is Associate Professor of the Department of National Economy at RUDN University. She has graduated from the Institute of National Economy with a degree in National Economy Planning in Baku. She worked at the Institute of Space Research and at the design department ‘Register’ of the Institute of Physics of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan SSR. In 2004 she defended her PhD thesis on ‘Industrial relations in the agro-industrial complex on the example of the Kursk Region’.

Mikel Gómez-Gastiasoro is a PhD candidate at the University of the Basque Country and holder of a predoctorate contract by the Basque Autonomous government to perform research on Spanish soft imperialism in the nineteenth century. He is working towards a Master’s Degree on Libraries, Archives and Digital continuity at the University Charles III of Madrid. He is a member of the research group ‘Basque Country, Europe and America: Inter-Atlantic Links and Relationships’.

Zhanna G. Golodova is a graduate of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics with a degree in Economic Cybernetics. In 2010 she defended her Doctor of Economics thesis, specializing in Finance, Money Circulation and Credit. Since 1992 she has been Professor at the National Economics Department of the RUDN University. Her scientific interests are monetary policy, regulation of the financial and banking sector in Russia and foreign countries, financial aspects of the activities of economic entities. She is the author of over 170 scientific works of educational works, including more than 20 papers on the problems of monetary regulation.

Yu Hailing, born in 1991, a citizen of the People's Republic of China, completed her Bachelor's Degree at the Department of Russian Language, Institute of Foreign Languages, Xinjiang University (PRC), in 2016. She majors in the Russian language and international trade. In 2018, she graduated with a Master's Degree in Economics from the Department of Economics, Tomsk State University (Russia), with a major in Economics. From 22 September 2018 to 21 September 2021, she completed her postgraduate studies (full-time) at the Department of Political Economy, Faculty of Economics, RUDN University (Russia), with a major in World Economy. Her scientific qualification work ‘Innovative cooperation between China and Russia within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative’ was carried out at the Department of International Economic Relations of the Faculty of Economics, RUDN University, under the scientific supervision of Professor L. V. Shkvarya.

Md. Nazmul Hossain is a PhD candidate and researcher. His field of research include micro-economy at the faculty of National Economy at the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. He is the founder of Bangladesh-based MSBCI-Banking (Micro-saving Based Co-operative Investment Banking) to alleviate the unemployment rate and improve the poverty condition in Bangladesh. MSBCI-Banking reserves and invests micro-investment capital of the impoverished and educated unemployed sections of the population who are not able to invest and conduct enterprises due to either their lack of investment capital or lack of entrepreneurial relationship to productive sectors and involves them in entrepreneurial activities. MSBCI-Banking debuted in Bangladesh in May 2019 and invested in SMES, agriculture, cattle farming, fisheries and other sectors and created employment opportunities for the educated unemployed and impoverished population of the rural disadvantaged area of Bangladesh. He has more than 30 publications on economics and contemporary global issues published in national and international journals.

Evgeniya K. Karpunina, with a doctorate in Economics, is Professor of the Department of Political Economy and Modern Business Proсesses of G.R. Derzhavin Tambov State University. She is the author of more than 250 scientific publications, including international ones. Her research interests include the transformation of economic systems, digital economy, as well as economic security.

Irina V. Karzanova is a candidate of Economic Sciences and holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Kansas, USA. She is an Associate Professor of the Department of National Economy, Economics Faculty of the RUDN University, Moscow, Russia. She received research grants from the Economic Education and Research Consortium; participated in the implementation of research projects for the Ministry of Economic Development of the RF and UNIDO (Russia, Moscow); served as Director of the ‘International Business’ Master Program at the Economics Faculty of the RUDN University. Her scientific interests include emerging markets, innovation economics, digital economy and Industry 4.0, venture investment practices, activities of entrepreneurial universities. She is also an editor and author of scientific reports and collective monographs and has published many papers in Russian and foreign peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Azat N. Khakimov, with a Bachelor of Management and Master of Economics degree, is a postgraduate student of the Department of National Economy at RUDN University, and an analyst at Fazer Russia LLC.

Yulia A. Konovalova, PhD (in Economics), is Associate Professor of the International Economic Relations Department, Faculty of the Economics of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University). She is an Executive Secretary of the RUDN Journal of Economics. Her scientific interests cover issues of global economy, international economic relations, Indian economy, Russia and India economic cooperation, TTIP integration project, USA and EU economic cooperation. She is a coordinator and organizer of the International Conference in the Economics Faculty of the RUDN University ‘Current Issues of the Global Economy’, and the author of more than 25 scientific articles and monographs.

Eylul S. Kosel is a graduate student in Economics at Galatasaray University. In 2017, she received her BSc degree from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences (Mulkiye), Department of Economics. Her areas of interest are generally macroeconomic theories and research ethics in economics.

Vladislav V. Kuzmin, postgraduate student, is a 1st Category Expert at Data Governance Department of Bank of Russia. His scientific interests include sustainable development, digital economy in Industry 4.0 and global hydropower in the world economy. He is a prize winner of the competition of students' scientific research works at Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University). He regularly publicly presents the results of research work at international scientific conferences.

Diana M. Madiyarova, Dr. Sc. (Econ.), is Professor at Peoples Friendship University of Russia. She has experience in scientific and pedagogical work at the Leningrad Institute of Finance and Economics, Turar Ryskulov Kazakh Economic University, Lev Gumilyov Eurasian National University, and the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. She received a PhD from Maastricht Business School and is author of over 300 scientific papers on economic problems.

Saida A. Makhatova, Bachelor of Science (Management & Finance), is Assurance Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She is a participant in various consulting projects within different economic industries and has closely worked with national and multinational companies, as well as private entities. She was the winner of ‘Best Entrepreneurial Research’ at the University of Brighton, UK. Her scientific interests include sustainable development, emerging markets, companies and globalization.

Olesya A. Meteleva is Junior Researcher at the Department of Management and Marketing, Vyatka State University, Kirov, Russia. Her research interests include communication management, resource provision of communication management, models and strategies of communication management, economic systems, technologies, methods, and tools of communication management. She has participated in research projects, where the customers were the Federal State Statistics Service, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan and others.

Larisa V. Moskovtceva, with a doctorate in Economics, is Professor in the Department of State, Municipal Administration and Business Technologies. She is a corresponding member of the Russian Municipal Academy. She is an author of more than 60 scientific papers, including nine monographs. Her research interests include public administration of the social sphere; municipal management, organization of interaction between regional and municipal authorities and economic entities.

Maria V. Petrovskaya is a Candidate of Economic Sciences (PhD in Economics) and Head of the Department of Accounting, Audit and Statistics of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University). She organizes Russian and international scientific and practical conferences. Her scientific interests include innovation risk management, business capital structure management, investment activities, financial analysis and company forecasting. She has published more than 100 works in Russian and foreign peer-reviewed scientific journals and books.

Elena G. Popkova, with a DSc in Economics, is the Founder and President of the Institute of Scientific Communications (Russia) and Leading Researcher of the Center for Applied Research of the Chair ‘Economic Policy and Public-Private Partnership’ of Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) (Moscow, Russia). Her scientific interests include the theory of economic growth, sustainable development, globalization, humanization of economic growth, emerging markets, social entrepreneurship, and the digital economy and Industry 4.0. Elena G. Popkova organizes Russian and international scientific and practical conferences and is the editor and author of collective monographs, and serves as a guest editor of international scientific journals. She has published more than 300 works in Russian and foreign peer-reviewed scientific journals and books.

Irina A. Pugacheva is a Master's Student (Management). Her scientific interests include international development, artificial intelligence, knowledge economy and innovative entrepreneurship.

Marina S. Reshetnikova, PhD (Economics), is Senior Lecturer (Economic and Mathematical Modelling Department) and Editor-in-Chief of the RUDN Journal of Economics. Her scientific interests include regional development, technology transfer, knowledge economy and innovative entrepreneurship. She has published more than 30 works in Russian and foreign peer-reviewed scientific journals and books.

Elizaveta I. Ruzina, Candidate of Economic Sciences, is Associate Professor of the Political Economy Department, RUDN University. Ruzina specializes in smart cities including ‘Development of the high-tech segment in the GCC region on the example of the aviation component of the Kingdom of Bahrain’, digital innovations in different industries, education included, and has authored more than 20 publications.

Liudmila V. Shkvarya, with a doctorate in Economics, is Professor of the Department of Political Economy, Faculty of Economics, People's Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University); Director of the Center for Asian Studies of the RUDN University; and Editor-in-Chief of the peer-reviewed academic economics journal Russia and Asia. The author has more than 200 scientific publications, mostly in high-ranking scientific journals, including more than 10 monographs. The sphere of scientific interests is mainly the research of problems of socio-economic development of Asian countries and their international economic (including integration) cooperation among themselves and with Russia. The topic of the author's doctoral dissertation was ‘Problems of Subregional Inter-Arab Economic Integration in the Context of Globalization’. The author is currently engaged in active scientific and scientific-pedagogical activities and has trained more than 20 postgraduate students.

Pavel A. Smirnov is the Assistant Professor of the National Economics Department of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. His scientific interests are national economics and small and medium-size business.

Tatyana V. Stozharova was born in the city of Gorky on 31 December 1968. She received her higher education in Law and Economics at the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod. She specializes in Jurisprudence and Master's degree Commerce. In 2010, she defended her PhD thesis. Currently, she is a candidate of Economic Sciences and an Associate Professor of the Department of World Economy and Customs Affairs of the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod.

Anastasia A. Sozinova, with a doctorate in Economics, is Associate Professor and Deputy Director of the Institute of Economics and Management for Science at Vyatka State University, Kirov, Russia. Her research interests include economic growth, globalization, business reorganization, development planning and strategic development. She is the head of the research work of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), etc. She has more than 120 publications in Russian and foreign journals and books.

She studied at the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo: Academy for Business Education, Management and Economics in Higher Education, and holds international certificates: The Leadership Accelerator Academy, EFMD Global network, The accredited trainer of the Institute of Professional Financial Managers. She is an accredited expert of the Federal Register of Experts in the Scientific and Technical Sphere of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Research Institute RINKCE from 2015 to the present, as well as the All-Russian Competition for Youth Projects from 2016 to the present.

Nurselen Tamer is a graduate student in Economics at the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. In 2018, she received her BSc degree from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences (Mulkiye), Department of Political Science and Public Administration. Her areas of interest are generally world economy and international economic relations.

Maxim V. Terletskiy is a postgraduate student, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University), Faculty of Economics, Department of International Economic Relations. Her specialization is world economy.

Oleg N. Tolstobokov, Candidate of Technical Sciences, is Associate Professor at the Department of Management and Economics, Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Additional Professional Education ‘Institute for the Development of Continuing Professional Education’. His research interests include the theory of industrial enterprises, theory of strategic management, theory of state economic policy, neoindustrialization theory, institutional and evolutionary theory, and accounting and auditing theory. He is a leader of field seminars on control, supervision and audit of procurement. He organizes Russian and international scientific and practical conferences. He has published more than 50 scientific papers in Russian and foreign peer-reviewed journals and books and is a candidate for a doctor's degree.

Anna V. Tsykora, PhD in Law, is associated with the Department of Economic Security, Accounting and Law. She has more than 30 scientific publications. Her research interests include legal regulation of economic relations, the economic security of the state and anti-corruption policy.

Khanifa V. Tyrkba is a Candidate of Economic Sciences and an Associate Professor of the Political Economy Department, RUDN University. Tyrkba specializes in foreign direct investments (by sector and region), the economy of ASEAN countries, the education market and e-learning market trends and has authored more than 20 publications, including Specifics of E-Learning Market in Russia.

Evgeniya V. Vilkova is Associate Professor and Candidate of Political Sciences, having graduated from the Faculty of International Relations of Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod in 2001, majoring in International Relations.

In 2007 she defended PhD thesis on the topic ‘Development of cooperation between the Nizhny Novgorod region and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia: structural and functional features and technological support’. Since 2010 she has been Associate Professor. In 2016 she participated in the professional retraining program ‘Management and marketing’ (Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering). From November 2020 to present she has been an Associate Professor of the Department of Socio-Political Communications of the Institute of International Relations and World History, Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod. Her research interests include international cooperation between the regions of the Russian Federation and the Federal Republic of Germany, European integration, marketing and socio-political communications. She has over 50 publications.

Natalia A. Volgina holds a doctorate in Economics and is Full Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations, Faculty of Economics of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia – RUDN University. She graduated from the Economics Faculty of Moscow State University. She is a member of the Expert Commission of Higher Attestation Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science. The field of her academic interests is connected with the activity of multinational enterprises, international production and global value chains. She is an author of research papers as well as a book International Production in Russia (2011), a co-author of a monograph Value Chains in the Automotive of Central and Eastern European Countries (2018) and a textbook titled International Economics (2006, 2010), International Trade (2019) and International Finance (2020).

Xizhe Wang is a postgraduate student in the Department of Political Economy, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University), Moscow, Russia, whose research interests include world economy, international economic relations, international trade and political economy.

Yuanlong Wang is a PhD student at the Peoples' Friendship University in Russia. His field of academic interests is international production and global value chains. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the People's Friendship University of Russia with a Master's Degree (2020), and the article ‘Status and potential of development of the Henan's Free Economic Zone in Central China’(2021) was published in the journal ‘Modern Global Economic System: Evolutional Development vs. Revolutionary Leap’.

Olga V. Zabelina, with a doctorate in Economics, is the Head of the Strategic Researches of Social and Labour Relations' Laboratory. Professor Zabelina conducts active scientific activity. She has published more than 200 works of a scientific and methodological nature including Human Resource Development in the Digital Age: Strategic Challenges, Challenges and Opportunities (Moscow, INFRA-M Research and Publishing Center, 2021) and Lifelong education: challenges of the digital economy (Komarno: J. Sallye University, 2020). Her research interests include the project design and forecasting of the development of the labour market and the system of vocational education.

Sergei B. Zainullin is Associate Professor of the Department of National Economy of the RUDN University. He has been working at Samara State University, and is a Visiting Professor at Middle East Technical University (Ankara, Turkey) and the University of the Basque Country (Spain). His research interests include corporate governance, corporate security, assets protection, and mergers and acquisitions. His publications include 11 monographs and manuals, including the textbook National Economy, and 30 scientific articles (Higher education commission, SCOPUS, WoS, and AGRIS). He is a CEO of the consulting company ‘Astakhov, Khoroshev, Zainullin and Partners’; the Member of the Board of Directors of companies such as JSC ‘Kryazh Breeding Plant’, JSC ‘Central Research Institute of Leather and Footwear Industry’, JSC ‘Central scientific research institute of film materials and artificial skin’, and JSC ‘Institute of Applied Biochemistry and Mechanical Engineering’. He is a Member of the Association of Professional Directors as well as of the Board of the Moscow of the Russian Red Cross.

Olga A. Zainullina is Senior Lecturer of the Department of Visual Communications, Synergy University. Her research interests include strategic marketing. She has published three monographs and 15 scientific articles, including the article ‘Modification of the marketing strategy in the conditions of the “Great Depression” as a factor of economic security’. She is the Head of the Marketing Department of JSC ‘USZ’ under the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.

Natalia N. Zubareva, PhD in Pedagogy, is Associate Professor at the Department of Health Organization and Public Health. Her research interests include issues of socio-economic development of the state, regions, in particular, the healthcare sector.
