Applicant: Komatsu Forklift Co. Ltd (JP)Patent number: JP11268895Publication date: 5 October 1999Title: Tyre deformation preventing device for automated guided vehicle

The problem was to use the whole of a resin tyre roughly uniformly so as to prevent the load from working only at a particular position of the tyre by operating a drive automatically at prescribed times even if an automated guided vehicle is used under a low-temperature environment such as a refrigerated warehouse and stopped for a long time at night or during holidays. This AGV is provided with an on - vehicle controller which detects when the vehicle stops for a long time and controls the resin tyre so as to rotate it by a prescribed amount by operating the drive automatically.
