Vacu-Blast joins USF Surface Preparation Group

The Vacu-Blast International Group, specialists in controlled abrasive blasting and shot peening technology, have joined the USF Surface Preparation Group.

The Vacu-Blast International Group provides air blast equipment design and manufacture, subcontract surface finishing and consultancy services, and comprises Vacu-Blast, Impact Peening and Impact Finishers in the UK and Matrasur in France. Current Group turnover is around £14 million.

The additional resources provided by being part of the $300 million worldwide USF Surface Preparation Group will also enable the Vacu-Blast International Group to develop new market opportunities, particularly in the USA and the Far East.

Vacu-Blast Group managing director, Mike Riley and commercial director Mike McCabe, will continue to lead Vacu-Blast activities from the Group's Slough headquarters, and will be working closely with USF Group management to realise the development potential of Vacu-Blast and the synergy with other USF companies operating in similar markets.
