MacDermid Canning has announced a partnership of excellence with the world's leading supplier of automated electroplating processing equipment, PAL - Process Automation Ltd.
PAL's manufacturing expertise of process automation plant coupled with over 200 years of chemical know-how from MacDermid Canning provides the metal finishing industry with a truly unique offering.
The partnership has already paid dividends with the news that Surface Treatment Nederland will use the combined technical knowledge of MacDermid Canning and PAL to produce Euro one, two and five cent pieces.
MacDermid Canning had its own plant equipment division until the early 1980s when it was phased out. Since then, it has worked with a variety of suppliers on a project by project basis.
As the MacDermid Canning Product Manager responsible for Plant and Equipment, explained: "This agreement ensures continuity of sales and service for our customers and guarantees the best of both worlds - top class machinery and chemicals.
"PAL offers the latest innovative technology and, combined with the very best in high tech chemical engineering from Canning, we are hoping to revolutionise the metal finishing industry over the next few years.
