Futura Coatings Incorporated announced that it has completed a synergistic sales and distribution relationship with ICI Devoe Coatings, a protective coatings manufacturer of industrial epoxy, acrylic, zinc and thin film urethane enamels. Under the agreements, ICI Devoe Coatings will represent Futura's industrial protective Coatings and other related products across North America.

According to Futura's vice-president, Mr Jarboe, MICI Devoe Coatings recognised the outstanding performance features of Futura's elastomeric polyurethane and polyurea coating systems for concrete, steel and earthen containment applications. While at the same time, Futura recognised the extraordinary ability of ICI Devoe Coatings to sell and distribute their products to a much wider customer base throughout North America. He continued: "By combining their product lines into one, both companies feel they can better service the growing and changing needs of their customers".

With over a century of experience, ICI Devoe Coatings is a well-known brand in the industrial corrosion-resistant, pipeline coatings and industrial maintenance epoxy coating and resin markets. The company has always maintained a commitment to product quality and innovative research and development.

Under the agreement, ICI Devoe Coatings will market Futura's solventless, fast cure and standards cure reaction spray elastomers for potable water, abrasion resistance, pipelines, tank bottoms and primary and secondary containment applications throughout North America.
