Plascoat Systems informs us that its PPA57IES Blue 536 meets the requirements of the Direction Générale de la Santé (DGS) directives and the standard AFNOR XP P 41-250-1/2/3 with reference to the use of the coating material in contact with drinking water.
The company considers that the announcement will allow French coaters to take advantage of the performance benefits and cost savings claimed of Performance Polymer Alloy.
As well as the UK's DWI and French approvals for Plascoat PPA57IES, PPA571 is also reported to be in receipt of EC approval and the specific support of the German and Belgian control agencies.
