A partnership agreement between stainless steel tube distributor, TW Metals and instrumentation systems supplier, Heap and Partners Limited, will increase supply and service levels to the instrumentation, measurement, hydraulics and actuation markets in the North East of England.

Through the agreement, an increased stock of stainless steel instrumentation tube will be based at Heap and Partners' manufacturing and distribution centre at Thornaby, Cleveland, in order to provide quick delivery of instrumentation systems to users in the area. Core tube stock will be held in metric sizes between 6 and 12 mm outside diameter and imperial sizes between 1/4 and 1/2 in. outside diameter, in standard 304/304L/316 and 316L stainless steel grades. Back-up stocks for these sizes plus sizes up to 50 mm (2 in.) outside diameter are available for next day delivery from the TW Metals' warehousing and processing centre in Southampton.

In addition to the standard stock grades, special and duplex stainless steel and nickel alloy tubes can also be supplied.

All TW Metals' standard stock specification, instrumentation tubes are fully certified to ASTM A269, dual certified to ASTM A213, NFA49117 and NACE MR0175.

Heap and Partners are able to offer a full range of complementary products including fittings, valves and manifolds from Parker Hannifin, diaphragm valves from Saunders Valves and ball valves from Hindle Valves.
